The 3 day Foundation course aims to develop a working knowledge of a proven best practice project management method.

The program focuses on the 5 elements that make up the PRINCE2 method. They are: ‘Principles’, ‘People’, ‘Practices’, ‘Processes’ and adapting PRINCE2 appropriate to the ‘Project Context’.

The Principles form the foundation of good practices, People explores activities and attributes that ensures people remain a core focus to achieving success and Practices outlines key concepts and techniques that are continually applied across PRINCE2’s Process lifecycle. Each process within the Process lifecycle includes a sequence of management steps, clearly defined project management responsibilities and documents.

  • Organizing – Designing a project management team with clear roles and responsibilities

The aim of the 2 day Practitioner training is to refine the learner’s understanding on how to apply the PRINCE2 project management method within different project situations.

The Practitioner project management certification exam is designed to assess the learner’s ability to apply the method in the context of a given scenario situation.

Course Overview

The aim of the 2 day Practitioner training is to refine the learner’s understanding on how to apply the PRINCE2 project management method within different project situations.

The Practitioner project management certification exam is designed to assess the learner’s ability to apply the method in the context of a given scenario situation.

Course pre-requisites: Passing the Foundation exam is a pre-requisite for completing the Practitioner exam. For alternative pre-requisites visit: PRINCE2 Practitioner exam pre-requisites.

PRINCE2 Project Management certification exams

Certification exams for in-person classroom or online courses (self-paced e-learning or virtual classroom training) are taken online from the learner’s location using a webcam, where an invigilator will be observing the exam.  Exam delegates are able to choose an exam date from a number of pre-scheduled days and times.
